At our school, parents will have to provide lunch for their children. There is a facility for the parents who can not provide food from home and prefer school lunch. For getting school lunch there will be an extra cost every month on top of the regular tuition fees.
The snacks will be served at school 2 times a day during morning work time and afternoon work time at no extra cost. The snacks for each week constantly vary in order to ensure the children receive a well-balanced diet. We will be providing pure vegetarian meals and snacks.
The eating habits learned as a child will be carried into the adult years. This is why we encourage you to provide nutritious lunches including protein, fruits, and/or vegetables with appropriate size servings for a different age child. And for school lunch we will follow the same guidelines. The children are offered the food, but they will not be forced to eat but be encouraged to eat healthy food.
Sample Snack 1: Apple, Cheese stick
Sample Snack 2: Yogurt, Berries
We are required to have a food handlers permit and the food prepared here will be in accordance with our food handlers permit guidelines.
Special Diets/Allergies:- If your child has any particular dietary needs resulting from being a vegetarian, or having allergies, religious beliefs, or non religious beliefs, etc., then just let us know. If the typical type of meals we serve do not meet your criteria for whatever reason, that’s perfectly fine, however, in which case, we will respect your belief and try to serve you accordingly and in case if that is not possible for some reason, the child’s lunch and or snacks will have to be provided by the parent.
